Season Two Announcment

[00:00:00] Foreign I'm Ben and welcome to the show where you and I gather around this campfire to hear some of our fellow campers scariest experiences. [00:00:15] Whether you're a new or returning one, I'm glad you're here. [00:00:20] Tonight we will not hear a story submitted by any camper, nor a story written by me. [00:00:27] Tonight I want to reminisce on the show and give an announcement on its future. [00:00:33] With spooky season almost in full order, I figured it's high time I take a season break. [00:00:40] I'll be back the first week of October for season two, debuting on October 1st or September 30th at midnight. [00:00:51] For season two, I'm going to prioritize the stories that I have written and I'm going to prioritize a full sound design for every episode. This might mean that some weeks I have to take a hiatus. Maybe I'll do just what I'm doing now, sit and talk to you. Maybe you'll get to know a little bit more about me. [00:01:12] But I was going back and listening to some of my personal favorite episodes, some of the personal stories that I've written. [00:01:20] And weirdly enough, they're all the stories that you all seem to enjoy the most as well. [00:01:26] At least they're the stories that had the most amount of listens. And I must say that's so strange to think. [00:01:34] When I started this show, I wanted to share the stories you sent in to have this communal fire that everyone felt heard at. [00:01:43] And looking back to see the episodes that have done the best, it makes me feel heard. [00:01:50] And so that's what I'm going to do each week moving forward in season two, I'm going to share with you a part of myself. [00:01:58] When I write, part of me bleeds into every story. [00:02:02] I lose a part of myself and everyone. [00:02:05] And while none of the stories are about me, I'm there. [00:02:10] I will see you all back back in October.
